A conservation walk along the Arthi- Kapiti in Kitengela corridor took place on Saturday, September 29, 2012 to sensitize residents on the importance of living in harmony with wildlife.
Students and staff of Inoorero University joined other universities, schools, corporate organizations and conservation enthusiasts in the 10 kilometer walk.
This inaugural event dubbed,”Twende Tusalimie Simba”, was organized by the Kenya Wildlife Conservation Forum (KWCF). The aim of the event was to significantly change the perception and reactions of area residents and other Kenyans towards wildlife.
The world clean up day is one of the activities in the global environment calendar marked every third Saturday of September every year.

The Google Mapping Event took place on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 where the Inoorero University students were trained on mapping various locations.
The exercise which was organized by the Research and Innovation Center (RIC) was done after training the students on how to map places that were not on Google maps on Friday, September 7, 2012.

Visiting top, internationally-known Professor Nicolai Pogrebnyakov from Denmark will be the guest speaker at a public lecture to be held at Nailab in Nairobi on Monday, September 17, 2012.
The one day workshop/public lecture will run under the theme, "Hot ICT trends and their impact on organizational business practices."
Professor Pogrebnyakov is a faculty member at Inoorero University teaching Executive MBA program in Leadership and International Business Development.

Inoorero University has appointed Professor Koi Muchira Tirima as the Director, Center for Research, Teaching and Learning (CRTL) effective 1st August 2012.
Prof. Koi holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from Washington State University. She also has a Masters in teaching English as a second language from the University of Idaho as well as a Doctorate in Education (Adult Education) from the University of Idaho, USA.
