The Fifth Inoorero University Vice Chancellor’s Innovations Forum was held on Tuesday 16th June 2010 at the University Lecture Theatre.
While also serving the purpose of documenting the making of an enterprise university, the VCs forum was started by the Vice chancellor, Prof Henry Thairu, to sow the seeds of an enterprise mindset in the heart of students and staff, as well as the stakeholders of Inoorero University. According to the VC, “The best way to influence people is to Inspire them to think differently to solve the problems that they encounter in a different, unique way that adds more value to the stakeholders”.
The Theme of the 5th VCs Innovation forum was Entrepreneurship as the Sustainable Business model for National Development. The Vice chancellor invited several entrepreneurs from industry to emphasize the role of entrepreneurship development as the future solution today.
This newsletter gives the highlights and also verbatim excerpts from the speakers during the 5th VC’s innovation forum to create awareness and interest into what every member of the Inoorero community should be and to contribute positively to the development of the enterprise mindset. Members of the Inoorero Community are challenged to come with success entrepreneurial stories that should constitute the cultural values of IU.
