Students Activity Day Launched

The Inoorero University students’ activity day was officially launched on 22nd February 2012. This is an initiative of Inoorero University Student Association (IUSA) leadership to set aside Wednesday afternoon as an official day for students to engage in activities away from their everyday academic work.

Speaking during the launch the Deputy Vice Chancellor Academics, Research and Student Affairs (ARS) who officiated the launch on behalf of the Vice Chancellor encouraged the students to take part in various activities to enable them discover the kind of skills they have, get new friends, learn how to be responsible and organize people.

“I advise you to get involved in social interaction as one of the elements in life and create friends while interacting,” Prof Kang’ethe said.

Currently the students have activities such as football, pool game, Yes Club, Christian Union, Multimedia club and many other indoor and outdoor activities. The university worked closely with Inoorro University Students Association (IUSA) to create an environment where students can relax to form part of their social life.
