LAW STUDENTS TO REPRESENT IU IN MAPUTO

Inoorero University will be represented by two Law students at the 21st African Human Rights Moot Court Competition to be held at the Universidade Eduardo Mondlane (UEM) of Maputo, Mozambique from 1 - 6 October 2012.

Joy Gathogo a second year student studying Diploma in Law and Brian Kinyua a third year Bachelor of Laws (LLB) student will compete with other mooters from all over Africa.

A one-day conference on Human Rights in Africa will also be held as part of the African Human Rights Moot Court Competition.

The African Human Rights Moot Court Competition has become the largest annual gathering on the continent of students and lecturers of law. Established in 1992, 975 teams from 129 universities, representing 48 African countries, have over the last 19 years participated in this premier event on the university and human rights calendar of the continent.
