Nairobi, January 20 – Inoorero University’s Regional Centre for Enterprise Development (RCED) will this Friday hold Orientation for the second cohort of its business mentorship programme.

Inoorero University, through the Regional Center for Enterprise Development (RCED) has entered into collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding with the Federation of Women Entrepreneur Associations (FEWA) to offer structured support to women businesses operating in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Specifically the partnership will entail:

The digital age is here with us and we cannot wish it away. Inoorero University (IU) commenced its first training on the use of Information Communication Technology (ICT) in the teaching curriculum from the 5th – 9th December 2011. The training was aimed at Trainers

Mentors offer a great deal of support in sharing their wisdom on an ongoing basis. This is important because the mentee is able to engage with someone who has been down that road before them. Inoorero University (IU) through its mentorship program run by the Regional Centre for Enterprise Development (RCED) awarded 23 mentors with certificates to launch their own network to champion the professionalism of business mentorship in the country.

The mentors have been pursuing a six month post graduate course in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSMEs) Business Mentorship.

Inoorero University in conjunction with the Kenya Association of Stock brokers and Investment Banks(KASIB) has launched a professional course in Financial and Stock Market Trading. This is the first program of its kind to be introduced in the country. The aim is to provide a solid understanding on financial markets with a greater focus on stock trading.

Two third year students from Inoorero University (IU) School of Law toped in the East African Arbitration Moot Competition held on Friday November 25, 2011 at the Strathmore Students Centre.

The Inoorero University (IU) held its third annual graduation ceremony on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre. During the event a total of 435 graduands were awarded in various diploma programs. Majority of the students were
optimistic that their years of academic toil at IU have prepared them adequately for the job market and are ready to take up the challenge ahead.

The animation industry in Kenya is growing, people are realizing the power of communication through animated creative works in response to this Inoorero University in conjuction with Balozi Productions has organized an Animation open Day scheduled for 26th November at IU from 9am- 4.30pm.

This is a special day set aside to showcase various career opportunities in Animation and also feature some creatives done by Balozi Productions. It targets anybody who wants to explore the world of creatives through animations.
